Job Role: System Engineer Location: Hyderabad
JOB DESCRIPTION:
We are seeking a talented System Engineer to join our team in Hyderabad. As a System Engineer, you will be responsible for troubleshooting incidents and problems reported by users on a day-to-day basis. Your role will involve providing timely updates in the ticket logging tool and resolving various technical issues related to desktops, laptops, software, and peripherals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot desktop and laptop operating system issues.
- Perform installation, re-installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of systems, printers, and scanners.
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot software and applications.
- Set up and troubleshoot email clients.
- Install antivirus software and ensure virus definition auto-updates on desktops and laptops.
- Install approved patches on desktops and laptops that have failed automatic updates.
- Remove viruses from desktops and laptops.
- Handle IMACs (Install, Move, Add, and Change) within pre-approved and low-impact parameters.
- Perform OS builds from approved images.
- Utilize problem-solving skills for Wipro, IBM, HP, Dell, and other vendor laptop/desktop hardware.
- Analyze and diagnose technical problems promptly.
- Determine and resolve problems within SLAs (Service Level Agreements).
- Collaborate with local and global teams.
- Demonstrate proactive and clear communication skills.
- Possess knowledge of quality standards and processes.
Education Required:
- Graduate
Required Skills:
- Proficient in client communication skills.
- Willingness to work shifts as per project requirements.
- Ability to set up desktops and phones for projects.
- Focus on reducing repetitive calls.
Salary: 4.2 LPA
